Today is so beautiful. Perfect weather! I find that people are in such good moods when the sun in shining. Living in California can be a challenge because of the weather. You are at work, and would like nothing better than to just leave, go outside amongst the trees, and just absorb the sunshine.

Well this year has turned out better. I have a new job, and still have my close friends. My parents moved to California, so my entire family lives here now. No more freezing cold winter trips in December back to the Midwest.

I hope 2008 will be better!

Reflecting on 2007 I would have to say all-in-all it has been a bad year. Politically the USA is falling, and the people have no representation from the government that has been elected. Yet US citizens are too lazy to do anything about it.

Personally I have been lucky enough to have a wonderful man in my life. He really cares about me, and brings joy each day.

Almost all of my friends abandoned me this year, and I do not even know why. The only friend I have left is my room mate.

This must all sound depressing, but it is true. Life is what we make it. We only have so much energy to put into our lives. So my focus for next year will be my lover, my family, and my career. I would like to find new friends who knows?

Sometimes it is difficult to be happy during the holidays. I know that in San Francisco you cannot even find a parking space to shop at any of the malls. Luckily there is online shopping, and I intend to do all of it that way.

But is it all about marketing and buying that expensive gift so somebody will be impressed? Or is it about giving a gift from you heart? With me it will always be from the heart.

Many of my friends talk about having chemistry before dating somebody. What exactly does that mean? Is is physical? Do we go on a date and some type of chemical reaction is suppose to take place? Or is it something else completely.

I believe it varies for each person. For me I know that I start to like a person because of a combination of traits. Somebody that is masculine, intelligent, and funny. Maybe it has something to do with if we are more visual or sensate.

How many times have you talked to somebody online and everything just seems right. You like to do the same type of things, eat the same kind of food, and even have similar hobbies. You talk about life and have the same aspirations. You love each others pictures, and yes, even sex sounds great.

Then you finally meet and nothing, no fireworks, no butterflies in your stomach, nothing!

I believe that when you are online meeting people it is important to talk about what chemistry means to each of you. That way before you meet you have set the correct expectations.
